cB42.5
This multi hull vessel is designed to allow where possible the hull and deck shells and all internals to be produced from developed duflex panels. Where compound surfaces are required such as the hull bottoms and coach roof these are produced from composite strip planks formed into the same building jig frames as the hull and deck developed surface areas. At no time does the build method determine the aesthetics as this is just a construction method that allows the builder to either purchase pre. cut parts as a complete construction kit or produce on a table the same parts from scaled and dimensioned drafting supplied as part of the design package. The overall construction method is for epoxy glass foam cored composites. This is a large volume vessel with a generous interior plan, of moderate displacement and generous overall beam this is a powerful yacht that will knock away the miles. Structures are robust and will generally meet or exceed most Survey Codes and build times are reduced by up to 1/3 when compared to a similar wet layup custom build . This design is available as a plan only purchase or as a supplied construction package.
